Kate is an English-qualified solicitor, who moved from the United Kingdom to New Zealand in 2020. Before joining Cooper Legal, Kate worked for six years at Leigh Day, a UK human rights firm, where she specialised in claims for non-recent abuse and related human rights violations.
Kate undertook her Law degree at Oxford University and also completed a Masters in International Human Rights Law at the University of Edinburgh. Before joining Cooper Legal, Kate worked at Leigh Day, a UK human rights firm, where she specialised in civil claims for non-recent abuse and related human rights violations.
Kate is currently going through the cross-qualification process here, in order to be admitted to the New Zealand bar.
Kate enjoys (almost!) anything related to the outdoors, including getting out on her bike, swimming and hiking.
